If English Paper Piecing is on your list—whether you’re just getting started, have tried it before, but felt it was frustrating, or quietly wish your seams looked like those perfectly polished ones—you’re going to want to see this!

Flat back stitching creates cleaner, less noticeable seams, but it can also feel awkward and uncomfortable. The SewTites® Flat Back Stitching English Paper Piecing Palette takes the frustration out of the process and helps you stitch with ease, confidence, and comfort. You may even find yourself falling in love with the process!

3 Sizes for Projects Big and Small

Each set includes three acrylic palettes in the following sizes:

Small 4 x 6"
Medium 4.5 x 6.5"
Large 5 x 7.25"

Works with All SewTites Magnets!

The EPP Palettes are designed to work with any of the SewTites® Magnets. The magnets will hold your pieces securely while you stitch, so nothing shifts out of place. You can stop and start whenever you need to and keep everything lined up just right.

We love that you can easily flip the clear palette over to view your work from the front!

Even better, the palette helps reduce hand strain and fatigue, making long stitching sessions far more comfortable, and turns even tiny pieces into an easy, stress-free stitch.

What Will You Make?

With EPP Palettes, English Paper Piecing might just become your new favorite creative outlet—mixing shapes, colors, and creativity into something you can enjoy anywhere.

Inspired by our example? We used 1-1/4" Hexagon Papers and fussy cut three colorways of the Carnation pattern, part of the NEW Yesterday collection by Juliana Horner for Anna Maria Designs. Our favorite needle and thread to use for EPP is either a #11 Short Darner or a #6 Silk Needle with Efina Cotton Thread.
