This thread is 100% cotton and made in Japan especially for sashiko but can also be used for embroidery, background stitching, sewing, mending, knitting, crocheting, knotting, decorating and boro. The set also includes a dark blue colored pin cushion and pack of 4 Daruma brand sashiko needles with a needle threader. The pin cushion is made from dark blue fabric that is sewn around a soft wadding and nestles perfectly in the box alongside the sashiko collection.
