Cherrywood Hand Dyed Bundles

Since 1990, Cherrywood Fabrics has been producing hand dyed cottons that truly looks like suede. Hand dyed in small batches using a proprietary technique to achieve color with depth, texture and movement, each piece is one-of-a-kind. With applique, the high-quality cotton will not fray, and needle turns beautifully.

The color is set in the dyeing process using a fixative. The fabric is then washed to flush out as much of the excess dye as possible. Treat it with care, wash in cold, keep out of direct sun, and use Synthrapol.

Pre-Washing Fabric:

Separate extreme darks and lights
Warm or cold water
2 teaspoons Synthrapol per load
Run 8 to 10 minutes
Complete warm rinse

Washing Quilts:

Cold water
2 teaspoons Synthrapol per load
Run 8 to 10 minutes
Complete cold rinse
Do not air dry (causes wicking)

Handling:

The cutting edge is sharp, handle with care
If scissors get wet, wipe them off to prevent rust. Wipe the blade with oil after use to prevent rust as well.
Do not forcibly cut hard objects, these shears are intended for use with thread and fabric.
Lacquer may discolor if stored in high temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
