Meet the instructors!

Sue's youngest daughter, Aimee, has worked for the business since 2015. She is the CFO, head of human resources, manages Sue’s schedule, as well as, the many responsibilities that fall under ‘front of house’. Recently, Aimee has fallen in love with hand piecing through completion of many of Jen Kingwell's quilt designs, but follows in her mother's footsteps as a jack of all trades and master of embroidery. She's assisted Sue in many of her teaching endeavors, and is looking forward to teaching more classes on her own and continuing her own learning.

Kelly is Sue’s eldest daughter, and has worked for the business since 2012. Kelly oversees our wholesale and retail websites, and new product research. Through her discoveries of new and interesting things for our website, she has fallen in love with color and texture. Kelly dyes our line of #5 Pearl Cotton thread, Dala, and alongside Sue, designed our line of Eleganza Perle Cotton. Kelly has assisted Sue in teaching many of her workshops and classes, and enjoys seeing different threads come to life on small scale designs. In her free time, Kelly loves to be in her garden, knitting, and being mom to our sweet n’ sassy studio dog, Amari.
