Block of Maroc, the inspiration...
"In 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Morocco not once but twice, a country I had never even dreamed I would set foot in. Despite my extensive research beforehand, nothing could have prepared me for the sheer wonder of this captivating country.
The tour delved into every facet of Morocco and its rich cultural tapestry. We navigated the bustling, labyrinthine medina of Marrakesh and strolled through the enchanting blue streets of Chefchaouen.
We were lucky to visit some women's co-ops, where they generously shared the artistry behind their diverse crafts as well as their lovely food. We witnessed local artisans meticulously crafting ceramics by hand.
Morocco's boundless beauty provided endless amounts of inspiration, from the earthy tones of its traditional terracotta architecture juxtaposed against the vast expanse of the sky to the intricate tile motifs adorning every surface. The Sahara Desert's golden sands left me spellbound, while the Kaleidoscope of Hues found in natural dyes and woven textiles were truly awe-inspiring. I hope that through making this quilt, you will get a sense of the deep love and affection I have for Morocco and its people.
The memories forged during these journeys are deeply cherished, sparking within me the desire to pen a love letter to Morocco through my craft. And so the inspiration for the block of the month was born." ~ Jen
The program will begin August 2024.

- As a participant in this program, you will receive FREE access to Jen's piecing and appliqué online classes for the duration of the program!
You will also receive a monthly video with hints and tips to complete the relevant blocks. - This program will run for 12 consecutive months, and is open to US residents only.
- The first fabric kit + template is scheduled to ship the 4th week of August 2024. (Permitting no incoming/international shipping/customs delays).
- Pricing per month, $38.50 (subject to change) + S&H (FedEx calculated shipping), and will begin to be charged monthly starting in August 2024.
- To consolidate shipping charges, we are happy to add any additional items to your shipments from the website, S&H will be adjusted accordingly.
- There is a $5 non-refundable registration fee to join the program.
- By registering for Block of Maroc, you agree to our policies, terms and conditions. You recognize that autoship programs, clubs and BOM's are a commitment between the consumer and vendor; therefore cancellations will not be permitted as this is a full 12-month program. Product returns are not accepted for any club. We reserve the right to increase costs due to unforeseen product and/or carrier rate increases.
