This modern, original crossbody bag pattern is perfect for an intermediate quilter or confident beginner!

The Emerson bag is the perfect blend of utility and style! Small enough to wear crossbody, or more traditionally as a belt bag, yet it still offers a surprisingly spacious interior with a handy slip pocket. Keep your belongings secure with zippered closures for the main compartment, as well as a convenient front pocket (great for your phone or passport)! Perfect for travel or adventure, but also day-to-day running around... the Emerson Crossbody bag is up for anything!

This paper pattern includes comprehensive instructions, helpful tips & tricks and over 60 diagrams to help you along each step. Printed as a 5.5" x 8.5" high-quality paper booklet, with templates for all pattern pieces included!

Approximate finished dimensions: 6" round bottom x 7" tall (15.25 x 17.75 cm)

NOTE: Measurements given for sizing up to 8” square.

Requirements based on 44" [111.8cm] wide fabric.

Recommended fabrics: medium weight linen or linen blend, quilting cotton or lightweight canvas

• ¼ yd (23 cm) Exterior fabric OR various scraps/remnants, enough to make up a 25” x 8” rectangle (63.5 cm x 20.3 cm)
• ¼ yd (23 cm) Lining fabric
•12" of 1/2" wide cotton twill tape [30.5cm of 13mm wide cotton twill tape]
• Additional fabric for appliqué pieces
• 2 yds (2 m) cotton drawstring or 1/4" [7mm] cotton twill tape, or similar lightweight cording
