Of a Feather Quilt

Of a Feather was inspired by the indigenous Otomi people, their multicolored textiles, oversized patterns, and whimsical layouts. Working from a parchment background, this quilt comes to life with multilayered wool appliqué and dimensional embroidery and takes on a modern feel with its bright, bold color palette. Sue provides detailed instructions, clear pattern, and stitch diagrams, as well as the opportunity to learn new techniques. Master wool applique, layering, cotton applique, ribbon application, and textural embroidery.
