Judy created this version of the Of a Feather Quilt, now named Of a Feather Geometric Throw, by making each block without adding the foreground applique. It was then embroidered over the applique and into the wool background, as well as through the layered cottons with linear and circular running stitches using black & white thread. This statement piece certainly makes for a fantastic modern throw or wall hanging!
