This notepad opens flat to 180°, and uses ukigami, a type of Echizen washi paper produced with unique methods, for its front cover. The center of the book doesn't rise up when opened, so it provides a sensation just like writing on a flat sheet of paper. Using the flat opening technology, which until now has been mainly used for notebooks, artisans have created a functional notepad in which all pages can be written on. The 2.5mm grid paper makes even small writing easy to read, and with 4 squares equaling 1cm, it's perfect for designing and project planning. The light gray lines and off-white paper won't tire the eyes or clash with any colors you use. An elastic band is fitted to the hard front cover, allowing you to place it in a bag without any worries.
