Hand Carved Cow Bone Tea Spoon

Kenyan artisans hand carve beautiful tea spoons from bone, then hand dye each one individually using a wax batik method. The bone is "batiked" through an age old art process used in Africa. The patterns are applied by placing wax on the white bone then dipping each handle into a dark brown/black dye. Because each spoon is hand dyed, designs will vary.
