Dallas Quilt Guild – Dallas, TX

I spent a lovely few days in Dallas at the quilt guild teaching my Greta Needle Case and Red Clover Quilt pattern. I was supposed to teach their last year but because of a really bad ice storm we needed to reschedule. Most of the students were from the Dallas area in addition we had a few join us from Houston.

They were very enthusiastic appliquéing with textural fabrics, embellishing and learning to attach beads in fun ways. We also made our own roving balls for our zipper pulls on the needle case.

Many thanks Kay and Janet for taking such good care of me.

I returned home to wonderful fall color. It was great to spend a couple of days at home preparing for market and catching up with Kelly.

Cathy and I packed up again earlier this week as we prepared for a road trip to Illinois to teach and vend at three quilt guilds.
