Cohana's color scheme is inspired both by natural beauty and culture. Each color represents something integral to life in Japan. Pink is the color of roses. In Japan, happy thoughts about good events are expressed as 'a rose-colored future.' Yellow is the color of daffodils. It is said that the daffodil got its Japanese name "water sage" because its appearance of purity is like that of a sagePale blueish green color is called water aspergillus, it is a refreshing color reminiscent of the clear water of the mountains. Blue is the color of Asiatic dayflowers. In the old days, Japanese people used to call this flower "tsukikusa", and used it to dye clothing. Gray is the color of kimonos worn by the geishas and fashionable young people during the Edo period. The English equivalent is 'sky gray'.
