Jen Kingwell is a midwife by trade who turned her stitching addiction to a career. She started her store Amitié Textiles in 2005 because of her love for bright, contemporary, and quirky fabrics. She designs and works alongside her husband Richard and one of her three daughters, Lucy. She is a scrap quilter and the more fabrics she can include in any one project, the happier she is. As an author, fabric and quilt designer, Jen now travels the world teaching and lecturing. Jen is admired for her masterful ability to piece diverse patterns and countless colors together in harmony.
