Cork Fabric is naturally beautiful, durable, washable, eco-friendly, versatile and on the cutting edge. The material can be sewn or glued to other materials and surfaces, embroidered, and laser cut. The production of cork fabric is environmentally friendly. Once cork is harvested from the cork oak it is boiled, dried, shaved into thin sheets, sealed with a non-toxic sealant and applied to a backing. Backing is made of a woven cotton-polyester and polyurethane blend.
