Ankara, also known as Dutch Wax Prints, are 100% cotton and printed using a wax-resist method of printing, similar to batiks. These fabrics require pre-washing, due to the method of printing, but once washed, the stiffness disappears, leaving behind an incredibly soft cotton fabric.
