I had a wonderful time teaching in Montana earlier this month. I flew into Missoula and then we drove to Seeley Lake where I taught a two day class on embellished flowers for Pam who owners Deer Country Quilts. Everyone was so enthusiastic stitching unique flowers with really textural centers and dimensional petals.

We then drove to Helena to the Sewing Palace owned by Jenny. I taught a two day class where some students worked on flowers and others on my little chicks. We had a lot of fun using all sorts of threads and stitches to add character to the images.
I stayed with one of the students in her beautiful home over looking a lake and surrounded by mountains. It is such a beautiful part of the country, not very populated and covered in snow for miles.

Thanks to all who made this trip so lovely.
Happy Stitching
Sue
