What a wonderful way to finish up teaching for the year. Just take a minute and imagine teaching on a vineyard in Northern California to 20 wonderfully creative students, great homemade food and sharing this all with my sister Wendy. What a life to be able to share my passion and still be able to meet wonderful like minded people and experience great places in this country. Thanks so much Kim and Helen for the lovely week.
Kim made sure each student did the required homework prior to class so we could spend the days embellishing the pieces with wonderful fibers and stitches. We also incorporated embossed pieces of hand dyed velvet as well as dimensional stitches. Each student worked on multiple layers of texture.

What a great year of teaching! I returned home to bitterly cold temperatures and snow. I am now looking forward to some time at home with family. Time to snuggle up and do some stitching.

Another fun class with such enthusiastic stitchers. It was great to see this quilt made in different fabrics and color ways. We stitched for two full days adding texture and interest to the blocks. It is a really fun quilt as you can add so many stitches to the blocks.

I am a little late In blogging this class as since my returned home I have been helping with the packaging and shipping of the 12 days of Christmas which we have been running on the website. It was a huge success and I thank everyone at the office for working so many extra hours as well as all our customers for your continuing support.
It is day 12 today I wonder what neat little goodies we have to offer today! www.suespargo.com
Happy Stitching
