Amazing work was created last week in my 5 day class at MISA had 19 students all creating Small Study pieces. I love teaching here and hope that some of you will join me when I return in August 2013 and again for two weeks in 2014. I think the pictures talk for them selves. What do you think?

Alaskan Cruise

Friday, July 5th, 2013

I spent two weeks visiting Seattle and teaching on an Alaskan cruise which was organized by Deb Roberts of worldofquiltstravel.com Jason my youngest son joined me. It was a wonderful trip filled with spectacular scenery, great northwest history and amazing wildlife. We were also treated to a fun filled day in Juneau on my friend Fabienne’s boat. We ate amazing crab dip and smoked salmon while watching a whale breaching for 30 minutes out in the bay. Life could not get any better!

I taught two classes one focusing on circle embellishment and the other my Red Clover quilt pattern. The students were enthusiastic spending there time at sea filled with stitching and embellishing. On our return to Seattle Jason and I spent a couple more days exploring the city.

We were so fortunate the weather was perfect for the two weeks only sprinkling with rain once.
