Welcome to my website.
An essay of the growth of myself and my business was submitted to Martha Stewart's ‘Dreamers into Doers 2008 Contest’ by my daughter Kelly. Please visit her website and leave a message during the week of July 30 to read my story and meet others who have turned their dreams into a reality.

Think birds, words and textiles! Long in the works, at last we have are ready to announce our new monthly bracelet. This is a limited edition, one of kind piece of wearable art. Each element is made literally one at a time so each piece will have its own variations. The first month you will receive your sterling silver bracelet with an S hook on one end and a split ring on the other. By simply removing the split ring you can add your elements on each month. For the next 24 months you will receive one element per month, either a tube bead or a charm. They will be made of fine silver and patinated bronze to add a dash of color. Three sizes will be available - 7.5", 8" and 8.5". Remember to specify sizing and keep in mind that you will need a little extra room to allow for the added thickness of the tube beads so I recommend going one size up. At the end of the project we will be offering an optional necklace so that you will be able to wear it as a bracelet or necklace.
We plan to treat this as we do the block of the month so once we close it, it will only be available in its entirety to those who have signed up.
The bracelet will be $95.00 and will be shipped the beginning of December.
The remaining 24 months will be $26.00 per month. Shipping each month will be $3.00
We will charge the beginning of each month.
Sign ups will be accepted now through September 30. |

Happenings during July
I had a wonderful time teaching in Saranac Lake at the Adirondack North Country Quilt Camp. I taught 3 classes. Pin Keepers, Victoria Tote and the Thistledown Table Rug. All the students had great fun embellishing.
Kim, Cathy and I spent 6 days in New York City visiting Andrew. It was very hot but still managed to spend a lot of time in ribbon and accessory stores looking for treasures. We took a boat cruise around Manhattan, visited Brooklyn, Soho and Greenwich Village and ate in many quaint restaurants.
Aimee just returned home from her visit to Spokane. She was very excited to share with me all her handmade pottery and silver work that she did while she was there. She had a good time with family and experienced many new activities.
Please look for updates on my blog at suespargo.blogspot.com
Upcoming events in August
I will be visiting with my family in Spokane and spending time catching up on sewing, house and yard work.
Enjoy the rest of the summer.
