I am so excited to be entering my eighth annual Block of the Month (BOM). Inspiration for this year’s design comes from my visit to Barcelona, and will be constructed out of hand dyed wools and textural fabrics.

During this 12-month program (January 2012 to December 2012), you will receive a monthly kit to include a pattern, hand-dyed wools and textural fabrics needed to make the quilt including borders, backing, binding and a hand-stamped label.  The monthly kits will also include embellishment threads, most of which will be hand dyed in-house and by select dyers.  As our kits are hand-dyed to order, substitutions of kit contents are unavailable.  The finished size of the quilt will be 41” x 43”.

PRICING FOR 2012 BOM plus SHIPPING/HANDLING (S&H)

• January through December: $45.00 per month
• U.S. shipping is $6.50 per month; with the exception of December, S&H will be $9.50*
• Canada & International shipping is $9.00 per month; with the exception of December S&H will be $12.00*
• *PLEASE NOTE: S&H charges will be adjusted accordingly for any additions to your BOM order throughout the year.

THREADS
I use Genziana wool thread ($7.50 each) and Italian cotton 60/20 thread ($3.50 each) for all my wool and cotton appliqué.  These threads will be optional additions to your monthly BOM.  More details on thread options will be discussed once you have joined the program.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?
To secure your spot in the 2012 BOM program, a $25 Membership Fee is required and is nonrefundable.  SIGN UPS will be accepted now through December 31, or until the limited spaces are filled. 

Within a few days of signing up, you will get an acknowledgement receipt emailed, to confirm your place in the 2012 BOM program. This will be followed by an email letter around November 1 to update you on the year’s project and its details.  Monthly kits will be shipped out every week, and are determined by the order in which sign ups were received.
